FAQ
One completed POST /v1/score request authenticated with a frp_live_ key. Idempotent replays, rejected requests (4xx/5xx), events scored with frp_test_ keys and Decision Core calls made in shadow mode are not billable scored events.
The Free plan includes 1,000 live scored events per calendar month (UTC). After that, live scoring requests are refused with a plan_quota_exceeded error until the next month starts or you upgrade. Nothing is billed, and your rules, lists and history stay as they are.
Paid plans never stop at the included volume: events beyond it are billed per 1,000 events, at $7.00 on Starter and $6.00 on Enterprise. A spending guard caps overage per billing period: Starter defaults to 100,000 extra events and Enterprise has no default guard. An organization admin can change the guard in billing settings; once it is reached, live scoring is refused until the next period.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; nothing you created is deleted, and new items above a lower limit are refused until you are back under it. A cancelled paid plan falls back to the Free plan. Annual billing gives you 2 months free compared with paying monthly.
Scoring continues rules-only for the rest of the period. Requests never fail because of the allowance: the deterministic policy still decides every event, and the response shows that the Decision Core was skipped.
No. Events scored with test keys are never billed and do not use your live allowance. Each plan has a separate monthly test allowance, from 1,000 on Free to 1,000,000 on Custom.
No. Subscriptions are paid on our payment processor's hosted pages, so FRAPE never sees or stores card numbers. The scoring API refuses card numbers too.
All list prices are in USD and exclude taxes, which are added where they apply.
No. MFA, role-based access control, the audit log, encryption, tenant isolation, card-number rejection and webhook signing are part of every plan, including Free. Security is not an upsell.
